This year was especially exciting because there were four children who had previously had their lips repaired by the team return to have their palates repaired. The before and after photos show the immense impact of the surgeries.
Another connection that was made was seeing Alvi who had been to the Obras twice before, once to have his lip repaired and last year for his palate. He was here this year with his sister who also had a cleft lip and palate. Her lip was repaired and the grateful family will return once again next year for an operation to repair her palate.
